This policy explains what personal information dianatc.com collects, why, and what happens to it. The short version: this site collects only what is needed to answer your messages and deliver your book cover, and it never sells your information.
Who runs this site
dianatc.com is the portfolio and shop of Diana Toledo Calcado, known professionally as Diana TC, a book cover designer based in Portugal. You can reach me at bydianatc@gmail.com for any question about this policy or your data.
What information is collected and why
The order and contact form
The form on the homepage does not store anything on this website. When you press send, it opens a ready-made email in your own email app, and nothing reaches me until you choose to send that email. The details you include, such as your name, email address, book title and creative brief, arrive in my inbox and are used only to discuss and produce your commission.
Shop orders
When you buy a premade cover, the shop (powered by WooCommerce) stores your name, email address, billing country and the contents of your order. I use these details to deliver your files, to personalise the cover with your title and author name, and to meet bookkeeping and tax obligations. Order fields such as the author name and title you type on a product page are saved with the order so I can prepare your files.
Payments
All payments are processed by PayPal. Your card or PayPal login details never touch this website. PayPal sends me your name, email address and payment confirmation so I can match your payment to your order. How PayPal handles your data is described in the PayPal privacy statement.
Cookies
This site uses a small number of cookies: essential cookies that keep your cart and checkout working, a consent cookie that remembers your choice in the cookie banner, and caching cookies that make pages load faster. There are no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking. You can delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.
Who your information is shared with
Your information is shared only with the services needed to run this site: PayPal for payments, and Hostinger, which hosts the website and its database. Your information is never sold or used for advertising.
How long information is kept
Order records are kept for as long as bookkeeping and tax law require. Email correspondence about commissions is kept for as long as it is useful for our work together. You can ask me to delete correspondence at any time.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to see the personal data I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it where the law allows. Email bydianatc@gmail.com and I will reply as quickly as I can.
